Join us as we attempt to dissolve taboos around male vulnerability, and discover what it means to make authentic connections with others.
You'll explore how to embody masculinity in a safe and healthy way, using a combination of breathwork, meditation, and creative movement, guided by Hafeez and Chun.
"If our training goes in line with what Mother Nature has offered us; walking, running, throwing, and more, we can evolve better as humans, pain-free and stress-free."
Hafeez Hassan is a professional choreographer, functional rehab specialist, and movement coach. He has been in the performing arts industry for over 15 years. Known for his “dynamic movement design” on stage, Hafeez has been involved in numerous productions, both as a performer and choreographer. Due to the nature of his job, his passion for physical movement grew and his curiosity brought him into the fitness industry.
After spending many years looking for a sustainable way to maintain his physical health, Hafeez discovered that the best way was also the simplest—by walking. He now integrates his spiritual practices in dance, yoga, and silat with functional corrective exercises. This is how he aims to align the body, mind, and spirit, so as to achieve a peaceful body and a more empowered posture when moving.
Hi, I'm Chun. I spent a good part of the last 15 years pushing my body through various activities like scuba diving, snowboarding, skydiving, triathlons, and military training. Eventually, it became difficult to maintain the required energy to recover in time and prevent my body from falling apart. At times, my limbs would swell painfully and prevent movement for a few days, which was probably the body's way of slowing me down.
After discovering the Wim Hof method in 2016, this painful response subsided tremendously through constant practice of breathing, cold and mindset conditioning.
I've personally seen how the Wim Hof Method has helped my fellow course participants who have been through dilapidating illnesses and inflammatory issues, or my own friends with long term shoulder and back issues. To me, this is a path with far greater outreach than the simple confines of my self, and I hope that I can play a part in the continuous branching out to help others looking for a way to become stronger, healthier, and happier.
